What came crashing down was the puppet's arm.
Made of wood, a puppet's arm could cause immense damage if it struck someone directly on the head.
But when the puppet's arm struck the back of Medanzo's head, it failed to knock him down. He did not even move, simply taking the blow head-on.
"If it were an ordinary person, they'd probably have fallen immediately, right?"
Medanzo slowly turned around and looked at the puppet in front of him. The person inside it had probably been stunned by surprise.
But the puppet did not remain stunned for long. The moment Medanzo turned around, it quickly pulled something. In an instant, something else came pouring down from above the roof.
It was a huge pile of dust... like a waterfall!
"This is..." Medanzo froze for a moment, seemingly realizing what the puppet intended to do. He frowned and said, "Wait, don't be rash. I'll surrender at most! The puppet did not stop. It quickly pulled out a round canister, and a small flamethrower nozzle was even fastened to its opening.
"You're going to let everyone know that you're hiding here! I said I'll surrender, all right?" As he spoke, Medanzo quickly raised both hands. One of them still had the sharp object stuck to it—a sharpened wooden splinter.
The puppet stared motionlessly at Medanzo, but showed no intention of lowering the simple device in its hand.
Medanzo let out a breath and actually sat down on the spot, extending his clasped hands. He even closed his eyes. "Do whatever you want to me, all right? I said I mean no harm."
The puppet
