Disqualified, disqualified, disqualified... disqualified.
Faces tinged with disappointment gradually disappeared into the distance. Before they knew it, they had toured most of the grounds... The only qualified candidate was the boy in the haunted-house dance room.
"I'm tired." The silver-haired girl looked at the boy wearing the Fox Mask.
Although she showed no expression, she looked so pitiful, like a cat silently crouching in a cardboard box at a street corner.
"Let's rest here for a while." He spoke softly.
The silver-haired girl nodded, then immediately collapsed into his arms and quietly fell asleep, completely defenseless.
"Looks like there aren't any useful clues here either."
The team was making its way through the teaching building... The team was led by Mei Xi. As for Miley, the deputy chairwoman of the Inspection Team, she was only acting as support at the moment.
"Isn't this Miss Mei Xi's classroom?" Miley stopped and looked inside.
The classroom was already empty.
"Yes." Mei Xi nodded and walked straight in. After briefly looking around, she finally returned to her seat and stopped.
"What's this?" Miley came closer and saw Mei Xi take a pendant from her schoolbag... a white feather.
"It's just a mascot." Mei Xi shook her head, unfastened the pendant, and put it in her pocket. "Let's go to the next place."
"We've found Teacher Muzi's whereabouts!"
The communicators at their ears suddenly rang.
Miley narrowed her eyes and chuckled. "As expected of a mascot. It brought us luck right away!"
The beautiful woman with short golden hair appeared leisurely on the platform of the teaching building... Her hands were tucked into the pockets of her white lab coat, and a faint smile rested on her face.
The high heels of her shoes struck the floor in a steady rhythm.
