They had just gotten off the plane when they encountered a young man wearing gold-rimmed glasses waiting at the end of the corridor.
"Excuse me, are you Jiang Qiyun, Team Leader Jiang?" the young man asked politely. "Hello, my name is Liu Jinghe, Second Secretary of the Mayor's Office at Huoyun City Hall."
A man from the crowd who was only slightly older than Liu Jinghe calmly stepped forward and extended his hand. "That's me. Jiang Qiyun."
"An honor to meet you, Team Leader Jiang." Liu Jinghe smiled faintly as he shook his hand. "Please, follow me. We've already arranged accommodations for everyone."
Jiang Qiyun smiled casually. "Mayor Tie moves quickly. We haven't even had time to say hello, and you've already taken care of everything."
"It's only proper that we take this seriously." Liu Jinghe bowed slightly. "The cars are waiting outside. This way, please."
In the reception hall, Huoyun's senior officials were quietly discussing something in small groups. Their varying degrees of intimacy were obvious at a glance.
