"Ah... so this is the will of the maze itself."
Tessarosa looked very interested as she examined the big-eyed fleshball, little Mimi... The latter hurriedly hid behind Boss Luo in a panic.
After all, this was the terrifying creature that had nearly taken its little life. It was only natural to be afraid—but did the Super Divine Artifact it had evolved into seem a little inferior?
Boss Luo suddenly asked, "Miss Tessarosa, are you interested in this maze?"
Tessarosa shook her head. "This maze and I aren't compatible... I'll pass. Shopkeeper Luo, you should save it for a more suitable buyer. I imagine quite a few of the Old Ones would be very interested."
Boss Luo thought for a moment. "I've heard that the Old Ones were once exiled from the Mythological Side... Miss Tessarosa, have you heard about this?"
Tessarosa froze for a moment before suddenly smiling. "It seems I've heard some important information from Shopkeeper Luo. When did that happen?"
Boss Luo did not continue.
Clearly, the expulsion of the Old Ones in the previous era had happened after the point in time when Tessarosa had been fished out.
To Tessarosa, this was something that would only happen in the "future" of the past.
Seeing that Boss Luo was unwilling to reveal anything, she knew all too well how the Holy Land... or rather, the Shop operated. Breaking open the Shop's mouth could be easy or difficult, depending on how one looked at it and whether one was willing to pay the corresponding price. After all, in her experience, there had yet to be anyone capable of successfully freeloading from the Holy Land.
"However, regarding one of the important materials of this maze—the Lord of R'lyeh—I did once see its head drifting through the void." Tessarosa suddenly spoke.
