"I think you're so arrogant that you can't even see anyone else."
"Tch." Hyuga Matsuba rolled his eyes, not thinking much of it.
"Attack."
The sword in his hand suddenly transformed into an extremely long weapon. Everything along that straight line was sliced apart, including the fat man who had been working there. He had now been cut in two.
Then, in the next second, the man vanished as though he had evaporated.
"It's already taken care of. We can go now." Hyuga Matsuba smacked his lips.
"What?" Vermouth frowned, feeling as though she had been tricked.
But the speed of that attack was simply beyond what an ordinary person could observe. She had only heard him say something beside her, and then he said they could leave.
Crash.
To her surprise, the building behind them suddenly split in half. Although it had not completely collapsed yet, it would soon become a pile of ruins.
Vermouth immediately turned around, utterly shocked.
"Did you do this?" Vermouth's eyes widened.
"This was nothing to me. Why are you so surprised? You understand how powerful I am now, right?"
Vermouth swallowed. She had never expected things to end this way, nor did she know how he had accomplished it.
The two of them returned home just like that, still unable to process what had just happened.
"I've already taken care of your problem. Aren't you going to praise me?"
Hyuga Matsuba raised a brow. Vermouth was genuinely a little afraid, because the last time he had looked like that, she had needed a long time to recover.
"I think you'd better behave yourself."
"You don't need to worry so much. I can take care of you." Hyuga Matsuba picked Vermouth up and carried her back to the room.
Vermouth began struggling, but it
