Dewitt took a deep breath of the morning air, then contentedly pulled a lighter and a cigarette case from his pocket and stuck a cigarette between his lips.
A cigarette after waking up was better than being a living immortal!
The quiet sound of the room door opening came from next door as well, and an old man with a head of white hair walked out, carrying a double-walled glass cup with tea leaves bobbing inside.
"Deng, you're awake too?" Dewitt greeted him.
"Dewitt, you're up this early too?" Deng Puhe said with a smile. "Looks like we're both getting old. Old men don't sleep for long."
"I'm ashamed. We're both old men, but you drink healthy tea when you wake up early, while I'm having an unhealthy cigarette." Dewitt took a deep drag and exhaled the smoke through his nostrils. "I'm afraid I won't live as long as you!"
"There's an old saying from my hometown: Wine is the essence of grain—drink more and you grow younger. Tobacco is the king of a hundred herbs—smoke more and your life grows longer!" Deng Puhe said.
The two old men exchanged a glance and burst out laughing, but quickly quieted down again, afraid of waking the other attendees.
Deng Puhe took a couple of sips of tea, then strolled to the door of Dewitt's room and looked at the problem sheet on the wall.

Deng Puhe raised his brows slightly, pulled a pair of reading glasses from his pocket, and put them on. After studying the five lines carefully and thinking for a moment, he said in surprise, "Dewitt, I remember you told me yesterday morning that no one would solve the problem you set this year within three
