"General Wang Wei of the Space Force Visits Frontier Technology University to Inspect and Guide Its Work"
On the 18th, General Wang Wei of the Space Force visited our university to inspect and guide its work. Accompanied by the university leadership, he toured the Quantum Physics Academy, Rocket Academy, School of Information Engineering, Bioengineering Institute, and Brain Science Institute in turn.
During the tour, Wang Wei cordially exchanged views with the faculty and students of each academy and held discussions with the members of their key laboratory leadership teams.
At the discussion meeting, Wang Wei heard a report on talent recruitment from Yan Qiwen, director of the Quantum Physics Academy laboratory; Professor Xie Yuanxun's outlook on commercial technology prospects at the Rocket Academy; a report on international cooperation achievements from Wei Zishu, secretary of the School of Information Engineering; a presentation of outstanding achievements from Xiang Wenwei, dean of the Bioengineering Institute; and a report on laboratory safety regulations from Professor Song He of the Brain Science Institute.
Wang Wei fully affirmed the efforts and achievements of each academy. He pointed out that after several years of development since its founding, Frontier Technology University had initially formed its research teams and training system, creating a new highland for talent cultivation and scientific innovation in the Great Northwest. Its commercial achievements and international cooperation had begun to bear fruit, and a number of model projects and exemplary figures had emerged.
