The Courier Station.
The courier station at Drone Base was not very large, probably only half the size of the one at a university. After all, this place was too remote, and it was a classified facility. Ordinary couriers could not reach it, so there was no chance of the cardboard boxes piling up as soon as a shopping festival ended.
The yawning female soldier sat by the entrance, with a stack of registration forms on the table.

"Fill out the form. I'll go get your packages." The female soldier stood up.
Song He and Xie Yuanxun grabbed registration forms and filled them out. The contents were simple: the time, pickup code, work badge number, and package contents.
The female soldier came out and placed a small plastic parcel in front of Song He, then set a medium-sized cardboard box in front of Xie Yuanxun.
"What's inside?" Xie Yuanxun asked, patting the box.
"Letters." The female soldier smiled faintly.
Xie Yuanxun and Song He suddenly understood. Their relatives and friends had sent them letters.
What a false alarm. There was still no news about the commendation, so they could only wait a little longer.
In the dormitory, the two of them sat on their respective beds and opened their packages.
