Thanks to scholars from around the world for their submissions, the first question of the Neuron Prize has been solved.
The Small Lin-Gar Conjecture was jointly proved first by Chu Long and Song He. The 3 million yuan prize has been awarded.
The Large Lin-Gar Conjecture was independently proved by Yang Jingshan and Song He at the same time. The 12 million yuan prize will be split into two 6 million yuan awards and presented to the two proof authors separately.
At the same time, twelve other scholars also proved the Small Lin-Gar Conjecture, while another scholar successfully advanced part of the Large Lin-Gar Conjecture. However, because their submissions arrived too late, they were unable to receive the official prize money.
Neuron Company would award each of these scholars 20,000 yuan as a token of appreciation for their submissions.
The paper proving the Small Lin-Gar Conjecture would be published publicly to advance mathematics. Since the Large Lin-Gar Conjecture involved the company's trade secrets, its detailed proof would not be made public for five years.
In addition, while solving the Small and Large Lin-Gar Conjectures, Song He had explored an entirely new mathematical conjecture. The related paper would be published in the Frontier Technology University Journal. They believed this new mathematical conjecture would open up an entirely new field of mathematics.
