The door burst open, and Song He stormed in carrying a computer box.
Yuan Guang was sitting on the bed drinking soda. When he saw the box his roommate had brought back, he was so shocked he nearly spat it out.
"Where did you get this hard currency?" Yuan Guang looked horrified. "If the teacher catches you, you'll get your head chopped off!"
"The teacher gave it to me." Song He placed the computer box on the table, then pulled a shopping bag from his pocket and took out a phone.
"Damn, there's more?" Yuan Guang was stunned.
Song He smiled faintly and continued taking out a second phone.
Yuan Guang was completely numb. He regarded Song He as if he were an Alienware, looking his roommate over again.
He suddenly realized that he actually knew very little about his roommate. He only knew that Song He's grades were godlike, that he was handsome, that he was involved with the campus belle, and that he was highly valued by the school leaders. He knew nothing else.
Song He got busy, plugging both phones into chargers before starting to unpack the computer.
Yuan Guang leaned over to look as well, his eyes widening further and further. "Good heavens! This computer must cost over ten thousand yuan, right?"
"I don't know. It probably wasn't cheap." Song He shrugged. In any case, he hadn't spent a cent. He had gotten it from Teacher Liu Lu for free.
"Two phones? That's brutal! Huh, this phone couldn't be..." Yuan Guang's attention was drawn to the phones.
"That's right. They're the rewards from the Math Competition and Biology Competition." Song He nodded.
"Awesome! You get busy first! Let me take a look later!" Yuan Guang was drooling with anticipation.
