"Made it into Teacher Xiang's Class A?" Xi Yanfan's tone was sour. "You've risen to prominence and forgotten your old leader? You came back to school and didn't even contact me, the club president?"
Song He nearly sprayed his food everywhere. It was the first time he had seen the Rubik's Cube Club president call herself an old leader.
"I really have been busy! I only had one meal today!" Song He swallowed a braised egg in one gulp, his expression fierce as he gulped it down. He nearly choked to death.
"Is Teacher Xiang good at teaching? Is she fierce?" Xi Yanfan asked curiously.
"How should I put it? It's like a master's guidance—using four ounces to move a thousand pounds." Song He recalled. "She doesn't give students long lectures on theoretical knowledge. She only points you in the right direction at a crucial moment, but that one nudge is incredibly effective!"
"She's not fierce, of course. At least, she hasn't lost her temper so far. She's even... a little gentle."
Xi Yanfan pouted, unable to hide the envy and jealousy on her face. She wanted to enter Class A too, but for now, she was still desperately scraping together enough points for Class B. She couldn't advance in the short term, so she could only ask Song He for some news to Quench Thirst with Plums.
"Does she have you conduct experiments? What direction are you working in?"
"Artificial Brain. She doesn't lead us; she lets us develop freely and holds a Weekly Meeting to grade us."
"Is your score high? What rank are you in the class? First?"
