Unable to find a route back to the Jade Balance Realm, he headed for Violet Empyrean Immortal City, unaware that the Black God Seven Venerables had decided to pursue and capture him.

• Han Yi used Soul Search and Soul Alteration to make Du Ge believe he was his nephew Du Fei, then passed inspections and boarded an Immortal Boat to Nine Radiance Immortal City.
• After arriving, Han Yi erased Du Ge’s memories of Du Fei and left him behind before visiting the Violet Empyrean Pavilion to ask about half-step spirit treasures and passages to the Jade Balance Realm.
• Han Yi learned from a Sea-Heaven Pavilion shopkeeper that rumors pointed to passages between realms in stable cities behind the front line, and he set out for Violet Empyrean Immortal City.
• The Black God Seven Venerables recognized Han Yi as a possible fellow traveler from the Jade Balance Realm and pursued him, hoping to capture him and seize his spirit stones.

Han Yi killed the Black God Seven Venerables, learned that they were Jade Balance Realm assassins who had pursued him on a tip from Gu Li, and continued to Violet Empyrean Immortal City. There, a Violet Empyrean Pavilion shopkeeper revealed that a single force controlled the human realms’ interworld passages and asked whether Han Yi had heard of the Big Dipper Immortal Hall.

• Han Yi lured the pursuing Black God Seven Venerables into the forest and killed six of them before striking down their leader, Qiu Yao.
• Han Yi searched Qiu Yao’s soul and learned that the seven were Black God Tower assassins from the Jade Balance Realm, and that Gu Li had marked him as a target.
• Han Yi resumed his journey to Violet Empyrean Immortal City, passed the city’s inspection, and entered the Violet Empyrean Pavilion headquarters.
• Han Yi told a Golden Core shopkeeper that he wanted to find a passage back to the Jade Balance Realm.
• The shopkeeper explained that one force controlled the interworld passages in the human territories of the Big Dipper Domain and asked Han Yi whether he had heard of the Big Dipper Immortal Hall.

Han Yi learned that the Big Dipper Immortal Hall controlled access to interworld passages and considered how to return to the Jade Balance Realm. After hearing reports at Three Lives Tavern, he recognized a possible connection between the Endless Corpse Domain and an earlier encounter.

• Ni Ce told Han Yi about the Big Dipper Immortal Hall and invited him to join the Violet Firmament Sect, but Han Yi remained determined to search for another passage to the Jade Balance Realm.
• Han Yi bought a residence in Violet Empyrean Immortal City and investigated the interworld passages at the major factions’ branch pavilions.
