Yuan Shun then revealed that Great Qian required the Mystic Pill Sect to take over the Blood God Sect’s duty of guarding the Blood Sea, leaving the sect facing a new burden.

• Han Yi reflected on the battle, resolved to cultivate in seclusion until reaching the Golden Core Stage, and began restoring his mana.
• Gu Yu told Han Yi that the Mystic Pill Sect had won a great victory but lost most of its Foundation Establishment elders and several Supreme Elders.

• Han Yi and the Mystic Pill Sect cultivators exterminated demonic creatures around the ruined Blood Sea City and discovered a surviving fifth-grade spirit vein on Blood God Peak.

Han Yi killed Han Xuxiao while escaping, but another Blood God Sect cultivator used a Soul-Chasing Talisman to pursue him.

• Han Yi left Profound Blood Peak with Li Wenbin and other cultivators aboard a Calamity-Crossing Immortal Ship, which also carried disciples of the Rogue Cultivator Golden Core Tian Boyi.
• Blood God Sect cultivators ambushed the ship in Nanyang Commandery, destroyed it with lightning, and began slaughtering the scattered passengers.
• Han Yi recognized thirteen Foundation Establishment enemies, carried inner sect disciples down into a forest, and told them to scatter before fleeing alone.

After killing Han Xuxiao, Han Yi was pursued by the mid-stage Foundation Establishment cultivator Lu Zhi and fought him desperately near White Crane City. Lu Zhi withdrew after Han Yi crippled several of his artifacts, and Han Yi flew toward the city for safety while resolving to learn a spell that could disrupt karmic tracking.

• Han Yi killed Han Xuxiao with one sword strike, then fled toward the hills as Lu Zhi pursued him.
• Han Yi hid in a village cellar using the Turtle Breath Technique, but Lu Zhi found him and trapped the Blacklight Broken Sword in his fire lotus.
• Han Yi attacked Lu Zhi with the Green Duckweed Sword and detonated the Clear Spring Sword, but Lu Zhi dodged the blast and counterattacked.

Han Yi fought Yuan Changtian, the Blood God Sect cultivator who had hunted him for killing Yuan Bai, in a desperate battle on the outskirts of White Crane Immortal City. Han Yi survived by activating the Xuandu Yang Fire Talisman and exhausting his artifacts to stall Yuan Changtian, but a voice from above interrupted his relief after the enemy’s death.

• Yuan Changtian caught up with Han Yi and identified him as Yuan Bai’s killer through the fragments of the Golden Light Shuttle.
• Yuan Changtian attacked with his magic treasure, shattering Han Yi’s Blood Blade and nearly killing him, but Han Yi activated the Xuandu Yang Fire Talisman.
• The talisman’s pure-white flame engulfed Yuan Changtian, while Han Yi used the Blacklight Broken Sword to withstand another strike from the Golden Light Shuttle.

Tianxin explained that Han Yi would accompany him to the Great Qian Emperor’s birthday celebration, leaving Han Yi trapped with a master whose previous disciples had both met disastrous ends.

• A Nascent Soul True Monarch appeared after Han Yi defeated Yuan Changtian, identified himself as Tianxin True Monarch, and carried Han Yi away toward Great Qian’s imperial capital.
• Lu Zhi found the battlefield, realized Yuan Changtian and Han Yi were gone, and left to report the unexpected change to the Blood God Sect.

Though Han Yi still planned to escape and refused to accept his new master’s claim, Heavenly Heart Daoist introduced him as his disciple to a rival True Monarch, leaving Han Yi publicly associated with Heaven’s Will Sect.

• During the forty-seven-day journey, Han Yi recovered from his injuries and assessed his remaining magic artifacts and spirit stones.
• Heavenly Heart Daoist explained that the Great Qian Immortal Kingdom followed the Human Emperor’s immortal path, but refused to explain further until Han Yi reached Nascent Soul.

• Heavenly Heart Daoist trapped Han Yi in the Perfected Unity Formation for a year while Han Yi cultivated in Everjoy Court’s fifth-rank spirit vein.
• Heavenly Heart Daoist brought Han Yi to the Great Qian Immortal Court, where Han Yi saw Qin Wuxian and joined the Foundation Establishment cultivators entering the cave heaven.

• Han Yi blocked the cold, severe cultivator’s Heavenly Mechanism Arrow with his Windfire Shields, then killed him with the Blacklight Broken Sword.

• He Fangwei told Han Yi that Fu Canghai had ordered one-tenth of Nine Dragon Shop’s assets sent to the Fu Clan, and asked him to locate the family and deliver their share.
• Han Yi accepted the task, received a storage bag of resources and Fu Canghai’s old identity plaque, then set out in a Human Immortal-grade Immortal Boat.

After killing Li Wenheng and learning the truth from his memories, Han Yi headed for the Li Clan residence to find Zheng Hai.

• Han Yi asked Li Wenheng to search Jiashan City for Zheng Hai, noticed the shopkeeper's nervous reaction to the Mystic Pill Sect, and paid a deposit for the search.
• After Han Yi left, Li Wenheng brought Zheng Hai's portrait to Li Yuanqing, who ordered him to conceal the truth and said Zheng Hai should be disposed of.
