He took a silver aircraft from his Storage Soul Tool. The moment he infused it with Soul Power, its wings unfolded with a faint hum.
This was the flying Soul Tool gifted to him when he joined the Shrek Supervisory Corps. Though it was nowhere near as impressive as the Sun Moon Empire's, it was steady enough.
The aircraft shot into the sky and sped toward Sunset Forest. Shrek City gradually shrank beneath him, while the edge of Star Dou Great Forest spread out in a vast expanse of deep green.
Meanwhile, not long after Li Changsheng left, a golden figure quietly emerged from the edge of Star Dou Great Forest. The golden-haired girl wore a floor-length golden dress, its hem embroidered with intricate patterns. Sunlight fell across her hair, reflecting a dazzling sheen. She gazed curiously at the distant sky, her fingertips lightly brushing through the air as though sensing the aura of this world. Her eyes brimmed with anticipation at her first arrival in the mortal realm.
"The human world, here I come!"
With that, she took light steps toward the world beyond.
By the time night fell, Li Changsheng's aircraft finally reached the outskirts of Sunset Forest.
Unlike the grandeur of Star Dou Great Forest, Sunset Forest was more like a colossal beast lying dormant. Ink-black canopies intertwined in the darkness, forming an impenetrable net. Moonlight could only struggle through the gaps, scattering sparse flecks of light below. The air was thick with the damp scent of soil and rotting vegetation, while the distant growls of unknown Soul Beasts carried a primitive, dangerous air.
Li Changsheng landed outside Sunset Forest.
