"Rin, hurry up!"
Obito kept urging Rin, who was strolling along at a leisurely pace behind him.
"What are we doing?" Rin looked utterly helpless. Obito had pulled her out, saying he had a surprise for her.
"You'll know when we get there!" Obito said mysteriously.
The two made their way to an open area near the edge of the village. Few people came here, and it was very close to the forest.
From afar, Rin spotted Shinichi waiting there and could not help feeling puzzled.
Why is he here...
Obito had already begun calling out to Shinichi and waving at him.
"Shinichi! We're here!"
The two arrived before Shinichi, and Obito's face could not hide his anticipation.
Rin could not help asking, "What are we doing?"
Shinichi glanced at Obito. "Ask him."
Obito smiled. "Rin, didn't you say before that you wanted to experience what flying felt like?"
Rin froze for a moment, then looked at Shinichi.
Obito continued, "So I asked Shinichi to take the two of us... to try flying in the sky together."
"..."
Rin felt both helpless and amused, yet Obito's painstaking effort also made her feel pressured.
She said, "Obito... I'm not really that interested in flying."
"And besides, flying isn't anything special."
As she spoke, she deliberately glanced at Shinichi, as though she had said it specifically for him to hear.
Shinichi sneered inwardly. Back then, he did not know who had screamed the loudest up in the sky.
Obito was somewhat dumbfounded. He had finally managed to get Shinichi to agree, so why was Rin suddenly no longer looking forward to it?
He could not help saying, "We're already here. Just give it a try."
He was unwilling to give up. Maybe Rin would think differently once she got into the sky.
