Kushina had recently been accompanying Rin in her training quite often. Since she herself could not become a perfect Jinchuriki, she hoped Rin could achieve it.
However, there was only so much guidance she could offer Rin regarding Tailed Beasts—mainly how to control Tailed Beast Chakra.
Rin was already able to communicate with the Three-Tails. Fortunately, unlike the Nine-Tails, the Three-Tails did not bear some deep-seated hatred toward humanity. It was rather accepting of its fate of being sealed away.
Every so often, she would chat with the Three-Tails inside her, trying to build rapport. Though the Three-Tails was not particularly vicious, it responded to Rin's goodwill with indifference. It was a creature that had lived for thousands of years; thinking she could control it with words alone was far too simplistic.
She still had to go through the process of subduing it by force.
The Uzumaki Clan's Chakra was unique. When Rin began subduing the Tailed Beast, Kushina could provide assistance.
Not long after Kushina returned from the training ground where the two had been practicing, a special guest suddenly arrived at her home just as she was about to take a bath.
Hyuga Shin.
"Shin?"
"Miss Kushina."
Shin stood outside the door and greeted her.
Kushina had not expected Shin to visit her of his own accord. If Ayari had come by, she would not have found it particularly surprising.
But since Shin had come, he was probably here on personal business.
"Come in, quickly." Kushina hurriedly welcomed Shin inside with a smile.
She still lived alone, and her residence was quite ordinary: one bedroom, one living room, one kitchen, and one bathroom.
Shin sat down on the sofa, and Kushina brought him some tea.
"Did you just get back, Miss Kushina?" Shin asked.
"Just call me Kushina.
