Samui and Mabui hurried through Konoha Prison. The place was already in utter chaos.
Every cell door had been broken open. Aside from a few people who remained in their cells even with the doors open, most of the prisoners had vanished without a trace.
They had no time to concern themselves with that now. They went all the way to the deepest dungeon, where they found Yugito lying unconscious on the floor.
The two hurried over and lifted her up.
"Yugito, wake up."
Yugito reacted, her brows tightly furrowed as she muttered, "Lord Raikage, I'm not a traitor... Dad, Mom... I'm not a traitor..."
Samui and Mabui exchanged a glance, their eyes both growing heavier.
They both had family in Kumogakure as well.
Samui had a younger brother, while Mabui still had her mother back home in Kumogakure.
"Samui, Mabui..."
Yugito woke at that moment and opened her eyes to look at them.
Then she abruptly sat up, sucking in a sharp breath as she touched the back of her neck.
"Where is Lord Raikage?" she asked.
Samui said, "He's wreaking havoc throughout Konoha."
Yugito froze. "He didn't escape?"
She had come despite the danger to herself, despite the misunderstanding before, to free the Raikage so that he could return to Kumogakure. Even if he could not take her with him, it would have been enough if he could clear her name. It would have been enough if her parents could live safely in the village.
Samui slowly said, "Yugito, you don't know yet... The Fifth Raikage has already taken office. The Fourth Hokage has probably already been told this by Konoha's ninja."
Yugito blankly asked, "Who is the Fifth?"
"It's Lord Killer B."
Killer B was not suited to be the Raikage, but Kumogakure needed someone to take
