Might Guy, who had been staying at the daimyo's side, sent back word.

Lord Gen, the daimyo of the Land of Fire, had become deeply infatuated with Kushinadahime, who had come from the Land of Rice Fields. He had neglected much state business because of her, much to the dissatisfaction of several ministers.

Anyone who had dealt with Lord Gen knew that the ruler of the Land of Fire was no incompetent fool. What sort of methods did this princess from the Land of Rice Fields possess to make the daimyo so lost in female charms?

Kakashi said she was an exceptionally beautiful woman, so beautiful she hardly seemed human. She radiated a peculiar charm that made it difficult to look away after a single glance.

This left Mana even more astonished. Why did she sound like some monster that specialized in seducing men?

Kakashi pondered. "Not much different from a monster..."

It was not as though he had never seen beautiful women before, but no one had ever made him lose himself after just one look. Yet when he tried to recall Kushinadahime's appearance now, it seemed terribly vague. He only remembered that she had been beautiful.

If the daimyo neglected his duties, it would not be a good thing for the Land of Fire. But it was not Mana's place to offer any reminders.

Someone knocked and entered, reporting that visitors from Amegakure had arrived and were waiting for the Hokage to receive them.

Mana casually asked who had come. The man replied that it was Konan and Nagato from Amegakure.

Hearing that Nagato had come as well, Mana raised a brow. He remembered that this man had never held a particularly favorable attitude toward Konoha.

After some thought, Mana had the Anbu summon Uchiha Clan's Fugaku.

"Hokage-sama."
