Zhen had pondered for a long time over how best to arrange matters for the child in Mikoto's womb.
Fugaku had been settled in a remote area, far away from Mikoto and her child.
The key was how he was supposed to explain this to Ayari.
If Kushina were the one who was pregnant, Zhen felt it would be easier to bring up. But Mikoto was a married woman—wouldn't that make him scum who had destroyed someone else's family?
Once Ayari found out, there would inevitably be another uproar.
Just thinking about it gave Zhen a headache.
There was another issue. After Mikoto's child was born, if it was a boy, should he still be named Sasuke?
Sasuke was the name of the Third Hokage's father. Fugaku had clearly chosen it to flatter the Third Hokage.
If Zhen used that name again, how was he supposed to explain it...
But giving him another name felt strange as well.
Naruto Residence.
"Big sis?"
Unable to find Ayano in the living room, Ayari headed toward Ayano's bedroom, calling out as she went.
When she pushed open the door, Ayano jumped in fright and hurriedly hid something.
Ayano said, "Why didn't you knock first?!"
She seemed both embarrassed and annoyed, with a hint of reproach in her tone.
Though she held the status of a servant in this household, she was still Ayari's older sister. She did not treat Ayari with the same respect she showed Zhen.
Ayari looked at her suspiciously. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing."
Seeing how obviously she was trying to hide something, Ayari naturally did not believe her. She strode forward, while Ayano kept backing away.
Ayari asked, "What are you hiding?"
Ayano changed the subject. "I'm not hiding anything. What did you come to see me for?"
