Uchiha Yashiro looked at the document in his hand, uncertain and suspicious.
"Hokage, what is this?"
"This is the village's layout after the new planning. I intend to make some adjustments for the Uchiha Clan. Take a look and tell me what you think."
After Uchiha Fugaku left, Uchiha Yashiro had temporarily taken charge of all Uchiha affairs. He was considered one of Fugaku's trusted right-hand men and held considerable prestige within the clan.
Yashiro reviewed it carefully and found that although it would greatly alter where the clan members lived, it was beneficial to the Uchiha Clan overall.
Unlike ordinary clan members, he had always known what Fugaku sought. It was never merely temporary power. What Fugaku wanted was to change the clan's standing in the villagers' hearts—for the Uchiha Clan's long-term future, and so that an Uchiha might one day become Hokage.
Zhen added, "Also, I think Uchiha Suzu and Uchiha Akira have great potential. They can be arranged to take the Jonin exams. Even if they cannot pass, they can still be made Special Jonin."
Yashiro said, "I'll notify them."
"There's no rush. When you return, discuss it with the clan members first."
"I'll take my leave."
Yashiro vaguely understood the Hokage's intentions. Having just punished Clan Head Uchiha Fugaku, he was now giving the Uchiha Clan some sweeteners. He wanted them to understand that the punishment of their clan head was only for the mistake he had made, directed at Uchiha Fugaku personally rather than the Uchiha Clan.
