Beneath the Sunlight Tower lay the Temple of Samsara.
The iron doors of the main hall slowly opened with a dull rumble. A group of people wearing white haori over black kimono, swords hanging at their waists, appeared beyond them. At their head stood Shunsui Kyoraku, captain of the 8th Division of the Seireitei's Thirteen Court Guard Squads.
There were eleven people in white haori. Aside from the Captain-Commander, every captain of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads had come.
Behind them stood their lieutenants, both men and women.
Hyuga Homura was once again responsible for receiving them. Kakashi was away on a mission, and Uchiha Shisui stood beside Kamado.
"By His Majesty's command, welcome, honored guests of Soul Society, to Konoha."
Shunsui approached with a cheerful smile and exchanged pleasantries with Kamado before introducing the captains behind him one by one.
The petite but cold and proud captain of the Second Division, Soi Fon, looked like a woman not to be trifled with.
The Third Division captain, Gin Ichimaru, wore a false smile across his face, his eyes narrowed into slits.
The dignified woman with black braids and a gentle, kindly expression was Retsu Unohana, captain of the Fourth Division.
There were Sosuke Aizen, captain of the Fifth Division, and Byakuya Kuchiki, captain of the Sixth Division, both of whom they had met before.
Sajin Komamura, captain of the Seventh Division; Kaname Tosen, captain of the 9th Division; Toshiro Hitsugaya, captain of the Tenth Division; Kenpachi Zaraki, captain of the 11th Division; and Mayuri Kurotsuchi, captain of the Twelfth Division.
Shunsui did not need to introduce the lieutenants. Kuchiki Rukia was among them as well. She was merely a Seated Officer, but since she had been the first to arrive here and discover this place, she had come along too.
