In Robin's room, after hearing her story, Nami sat there in a daze.

After a long silence, she turned her head and saw herself in the vanity mirror on the table. She was fairly beautiful, and in the past she could still admire herself a little, but now she could not help looking dejected.

"Is there... no other way?"

"..."

The answer she received was silence.

Whenever they had faced powerful enemies before, they had always worked together, entrusting their lives to one another. But what about an enemy countless times stronger than them, one they had no chance of defeating at all...

Were they supposed to die together?

Nami asked, "How are you planning to tell everyone?"

Robin suddenly smiled, as though she had sorted out her feelings.

"The world has changed, and the things we wanted to pursue no longer exist. Why not settle down somewhere and live peacefully? Konoha is a very good choice, isn't it?"

Nami quietly watched the smile on her face, but said, "That's too unlike you, Robin."

Robin's expression stiffened. Then she withdrew her smile and lowered her gaze. "I'm tired of drifting from place to place. I want a stable future. I don't want to return to the sea anymore. That truly is what I want, and besides..."

She paused before continuing, "We haven't been traveling together for that long. You don't understand me at all."

When they stepped out of the room, everyone was still standing there.

"Miss Robin!"

"Robin!"

The others crowded around again.

Robin glanced at Nami beside her. Seeing that she remained silent, Robin took the initiative and said, "I went to see His Majesty the Emperor not long ago. He said he was willing to let us go."

Everyone was stunned. Usopp immediately broke into a smile.
