Hinata seemed to have come across something joyful lately. Every day when she returned, her face was filled with smiles.
At first, Shin and the others thought it was because Ayano was about to give her a little sister, but after hearing Naruto's explanation, they realized that was not the case.
Hinata had made two new friends at school.
Ino and Sakura.
Kushina could not help but laugh. "Two new friends made her this happy? Did Hinata not have any friends before?"
Naruto said, "These two are different to Hinata, especially one of them..."
A strange smile appeared on his face. "That Haruno Sakura married Sasuke in another world."
Sasuke overheard this and immediately said haughtily, "That was in another world. I am not interested in her at all."
Naruto's smile widened. "If you are not interested, why do you keep helping her behind the scenes?"
Sasuke grew embarrassed and angry at once, grabbing Naruto as if to start a fight. The two children began fooling around beneath the smiling gazes of the adults.
Shin chuckled. "You can bring that Sakura over to play sometime. I would like to meet my future daughter-in-law."
Sasuke was both angry and helpless. "Dad!"
Shin recalled how the new generation in the original story had already started confessing and nursing crushes at the Ninja Academy. He could not help but sigh inwardly at how precocious children in this world were.
He then looked at Neji and asked with a smile, "Neji, do you not have a girl you like at school?"
Neji shook his head. "No."
His expression was calm and sincere, and he answered openly and generously.
Shin fell into thought and asked, "There should be a girl in your class named Tenten, right?"
Neji paused, thought carefully for a moment, and nodded.
