"Are you going out?" she could not help asking.
"I'm going to the Imperial Palace to serve His Majesty today." Hancock stood before the full-length mirror, looking herself over again and again, admiring her own beauty.
She knew His Majesty liked her this way. Most of her clothes now were qipaos and the like, garments that perfectly highlighted her figure.
Originally, she had been able to remain at His Majesty's side and serve him constantly. Hancock had felt that if things continued this way, His Majesty would surely fall in love with her.
