A black spatial rift opened, and four figures slowly emerged from it. It was Jiraiya, Uzumaki Naruto, Second Pillar, and Uzumaki Hinata!
The moment they emerged, they were stunned by the sight before them. An enormous shadow blanketed the sky, and near Konoha, two curtains of black mist hung down from it, seemingly concealing something.
"What... is that?" Uzumaki Hinata murmured.
"Konoha..."
Jiraiya turned to look at them and pondered, "Did you see something?"
Uzumaki Naruto said in surprise, "Pervy Sage, you can't see it?"
Jiraiya slowly shook his head. In his view, the sky was perfectly clear, and the city in the distance was flourishing beyond compare.
Second Pillar said thoughtfully, "Let's go to Konoha first and see how the Emperor is doing."
"Alright!"
When they had last come to Konoha, they had still been teenagers and could not fully appreciate its strength and prosperity. Now, it felt completely different. The giant standing outside alone had left the two of them deeply shaken.
The group entered Konoha without much trouble and soon arrived not far outside the Imperial Palace. The area shrouded in black mist was the palace's front hall.
"Is the Emperor inside?" Second Pillar wondered.
"Can you tell anything?" Uzumaki Naruto asked Second Pillar.
Second Pillar shook his head. His eye controlled the power of space, but Time Power was beyond his reach.
The group stared at the black mist, all at a loss as to where to begin.
Just as they hesitated over whether to step forward and investigate, a voice suddenly sounded beside them. "Jiraiya?"
Everyone turned at once and discovered a very familiar blonde woman.
"Tsunade!" Jiraiya exclaimed in delight.
