The flames surrounding Shin slowly dissipated, while the high-altitude wind made his clothes flutter loudly.
Below, Yugito whispered something to the companions beside her.
"Then let's deal with this troublesome guy first." Yugito cracked her knuckles, eager to try.
She lowered herself into a stance, sharp claws extending from her fingers. Her gaze locked tightly onto Shin in the sky. With a whoosh, she left an afterimage behind and shot forward at high speed.
Yugito darted rapidly across the battlefield, her movements exceptionally nimble. She climbed a large tree, then forcefully launched herself from it. Her claws sliced through the air as she charged straight toward Shin.
Shin remained calm as he watched Yugito leap into the sky to attack him. Her jumping ability truly was impressive. Even with the help of the tree beside her, an ordinary person could never reach his height.
Seeing Shin remain motionless, Yugito assumed he had been frightened stiff and sneered.
"Get down here obediently, brat!"
Shin merely shifted lightly to the side, easily evading Yugito's attack. Yugito could only watch helplessly as he remained within arm's reach, yet utterly beyond her grasp.
Unable to find any leverage in midair, she began to fall. Yugito abruptly twisted her body and gritted her teeth as she spat out a ball of blue flame toward Shin.
Shin simply raised a finger. The blue flame stopped before him, then hovered over his fingertip under his control.
Shin sensed that the Chakra within this flame was different. This was Tailed Beast Chakra.
He curled his other hand into a claw. The falling Yugito instantly felt something supporting her and pulling her toward Shin.
She tried to break free, but there was nothing around her to push against. In the end, she was suspended a meter away from Shin.
