The Uchiha clan grounds were very different from the Hyuga's.
The Hyuga could be seen as one enormous estate, while the Uchiha gave the impression of being a village within a village.
The Uchiha also lacked the Hyuga's rigid hierarchy. The atmosphere on their streets was far better than in the Hyuga compound. The Uchiha had yet to be relocated to the edge of the village, and they were nowhere near as exclusionary as they were in the original story.
In the villagers' eyes, they were merely a bunch of somewhat proud people.
The Uchiha clan head's home was just an ordinary house with a small courtyard. It did not even look as luxurious as Shin's actual residence.
"Shin, please come in," Fugaku said warmly with a smile.
"Sorry to intrude, Senior Fugaku."
In the living room stood a beautiful young woman with a gentle, elegant demeanor, along with a young boy.
"This is my wife, Mikoto. And this is Itachi, my son."
Shin smiled and greeted them both in turn.
After a few simple greetings, Mikoto went into the kitchen, presumably busy preparing lunch.
Fugaku and Shin sat in the living room and chatted. Itachi sat obediently at the side, though he could not help stealing glances at Shin. His father had said he was inviting the head of the Hyuga Clan as a guest, but he had not expected him to be such a young person.
"Itachi, Shin assumed the position of Hyuga Clan head at such a young age, and he is also the Hokage's right-hand man. He can truly be called a model among the younger generation."
