In the dense forest, a figure clad in a black robe raced forward at high speed. Beneath the hood was a head wrapped in white matter; his left eye was shut, while the right side of his face bore irregular scars.
"Damn it, at a time like this..." he muttered. Booming sounds rang out in the distance, making him even more restless.
"Obito, my companion sent word. They're not far ahead," another voice sounded from his body.
Obito gazed toward the massive waves erupting in the distance. The battle seemed incredibly fierce, and his heart sank further.
Ever since receiving news that Kakashi and Rin were in danger, he had rushed here without stopping. Yet Minato-sensei was absent at a time like this, just like during that previous mission!
"Obito, the battle later..."
White Zetsu on his body spoke, but at that moment, a black shadow suddenly flashed before his eyes. The figure was unbelievably fast in the night. He had no time to react, nor could he see who it was. He only felt something pierce his neck, and his consciousness instantly blurred away.
"Sleep, good boy."
It was the last voice he heard.
Orochimaru held a syringe that he had plunged into the back of Obito's neck. As the liquid was injected, Obito instantly stiffened, and two ghastly pale humanoid monsters were stripped from his body.
Orochimaru gave them no chance to speak or make any movements. Two pythons shot out from his body and bit directly into the necks of the two White Zetsu.
The pythons held the two White Zetsu corpses in their mouths.
Below the dense forest, a group of people slowly appeared. They had also brought several White Zetsu corpses.
"Hokage-sama! It's been taken care of!"
Orochimaru leaped down from the branch with Obito
