Horatio sat atop the Symbiote Basilisk's head, chin resting on his hand, gazing at the now-deceased Aragog, lost in thought.
"It's a bit like the Killing Curse, both severing the bridge between body and soul. But why does the Basilisk's gaze affect souls?" Horatio glanced at the bound and feigning-unconsciousness young Tom, then commanded the Basilisk to swim towards him.
"Don't come over!!!" young Tom screamed internally, but his body remained frozen.
"Hey, I know you're awake over there. Your little pet has taken my form. Aren't you going to open your eyes and see?" Horatio said to young Tom.
"Horatio, you think you've won? I won't open my eyes even if Fiendfyre burns me to death today," young Tom said stubbornly, seeing he was exposed.
"Fine, I hope you're still this tough later." Horatio walked to the Aragog's corpse and placed his hand on its leg.
As a crimson energy appeared in Horatio's hand, Aragog's body dissolved into a pool of liquid.
Then, the liquid began to reassemble, forming a beast with a single, sharp, long horn on its head, about the size of a wolf. Horatio inscribed runes on its horn that could touch soul bodies.
Young Tom felt Horatio flip him over on the cross and panicked, quickly asking, "What are you doing?"
Horatio found the perfect filming angle, took a camera out of a cloth bag, and replied, "Do you know what they call monsters in Japan? Kaiju. I just refined a Kaiju. I hope you like it."
Horatio positioned the Kaiju to aim at a certain spot on young Tom and turned on the camera. "Tomorrow's Daily Prophet will report on Tom Riddle being 'kaiju-ed'. But don't panic, this is quite common in England. I'll help you submit an application to the 'English Gentleman' magazine to 'open a game'."
"No, no, no, I was wrong, I'll open my eyes now." Young Tom didn't want to join the English Gentleman's Association, so he decisively opened his eyes and looked directly into the Basilisk's gaze.
"Pfft, I thought you were tougher than that. Is this all you've got?" Horatio said contemptuously, looking at the petrified young Tom.
Horatio transformed the Kaiju back into bodily energy and injected it into the extra-dimensional space where Bellocan resided. He felt no pity for this created biological weapon.
Horatio examined the petrified young Tom. "A curse on the soul? Interesting."
Horatio opened a portal to the greenhouse and said to a row of Mandrakes, "Who's willing to contribute a bit of their body?"
The Mandrakes eagerly nodded their leaves, indicating "Pick me." Horatio chose the largest one, cut off some of its tuber, and replanted it in a pot, sprinkling some super-strength Jin Ke La as compensation.
Afterward, Horatio used the tuber to refine a potion to lift curses and dripped it onto the petrified young Tom.
While young Tom was recovering, he took out a lantern containing half of Tom's soul, captured last semester.
After extracting the soul fragment, and once young Tom had recovered, before he could beg for mercy, Horatio violently merged the two souls, removing their consciousness to create an AI soul that would only respond.
This was Horatio's first time editing a human soul, and he was quite pleased with his craftsmanship. He patted the brand-new Tom soul on the shoulder. "From now on, you'll be called Flying God."
Flying God nodded blankly. Horatio resealed him in the diary and ordered the Symbiote Basilisk to hunt as many Aragog specimens as possible and bring their corpses here. Then, picking up the diary, he opened a portal to the Headmaster's office and left.
It was late at night, and Dumbledore was fast asleep in the resting room next to the Headmaster's office.
He dreamt of reuniting with Grindelwald in a coffee shop when they were young. He confessed his love to Grindelwald, but Grindelwald shouted, "Watch out for bombs."
He looked down and saw a wicked little brat hiding under the coffee table, piling explosives under his chair.
Dumbledore broke out in a cold sweat and woke up instantly. However, the dream mirrored reality; the brat was indeed piling explosives under his bed.
"Uh... Good midnight, Headmaster... I'm setting your alarm for the morning," Horatio said awkwardly. He hadn't thought he was being that quiet, yet Dumbledore had still woken up.
Dumbledore silently thanked his lover for the warning; without it, he might have been blown sky-high.
Dumbledore grabbed Horatio by the scruff of his neck and landed two solid punches on his head.
Then Dumbledore felt something was wrong with his hand; it felt a bit sore. He then touched Horatio's head and felt a cold, smooth metallic surface.
He removed the object from Horatio's head – a metal helmet that had been cloaked in invisibility.
Since he was caught anyway, Horatio readily admitted, "Old man, through our long-term struggles, I've learned a lesson: when fishing... uh, I mean, when causing trouble, not wearing a helmet is very dangerous."
Looking at Horatio, who had a "if you have the guts, kill me" expression, Dumbledore suppressed his anger and asked, "Child, why are you here so late instead of sleeping?"
"That's a long story..." Horatio recounted everything from how he swindled the diary from Lucius, to how he played along with young Tom, to how he subdued the Basilisk, omitting only the existence of the Super Beast.
"Headmaster, look, Slytherin's ancestor, the sacred land, and the guardian beast are all in my hands. So, shouldn't I be the Head of Slytherin?
Don't worry, I won't do anything out of line to the students. At most, I'll just have a pool party with the little Slytherin witches," Horatio declared, placing four fingers on his temples.
Dumbledore felt a headache coming on. Less than two weeks into the school year, and Horatio had already pulled off a major stunt, doing all this quietly.
"Child, about Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets..."
"No, that's my spoils of war. If you insist, then I'll have to secretly teach Harry some powerful magic. The Disarming Charm was just for fun; the Killing Curse is the real deal."
To prevent Harry from going from savior to Dark Lord, Dumbledore had no choice but to compromise. One Voldemort and one Horatio were already enough trouble; he didn't want Harry to become a Dark Lord too, turning it into a "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" starring Dark Lords.
Voldemort, Harry: What have we done to deserve being mentioned alongside Horatio?
Dumbledore and Horatio agreed that the Basilisk would not be released to harm anyone.
Horatio stated that he had sent the Basilisk to maintain the ecological balance of the Forbidden Forest, arguing that it contributed more to environmental protection than the Green Parties of the European Union. Looking at his missile-powered Super Beast, he asked, "Shouldn't I be awarded the Nobel Earth Prize?"
