This is not my first time reading Naruto fan fiction. Ever since I started with the first novel I read, I've gone through countless Naruto fan fictions, so these are some of the settings I've come to agree with after reading for so long. Whenever I remember, I'll try to mark them down as I write.
Some ancient works I still remember: Flame Emperor, Flash, Death God Qin (I've forgotten the last character), Distant Transmission, Glazed Blade, Cat Ninja, Hōōji Yūha, and Days in Naruto.
There are many more, but I won't list the ones I've read recently.
Here are some of the settings.
When Senju Hashirama founded the village, he wanted everyone to dissolve their clans. In the end, only the Senju did so; none of the others did. After that, the Senju became synonymous with Konoha. (I think I read this in Naruto: Danzo. I find it quite reasonable.)
Namikaze Minato was one of the Senju who scattered into Konoha. The basis for this is his blond hair, his talent for space-related techniques, and his personal aptitude. Asura's attachment to Naruto also shows that Naruto's bloodline is very pure.
I explain the blond hair of the Yamanaka Clan as a beneficial change caused by cultivating Spiritual Power techniques. Their brains changed, and their hair turned blond. (I read this in Plague Doctor. It said that when one's thinking changes, the body changes as well.)
The setting that Minato was a Senju is actually useless. It's only there for the protagonist to deceive Minato with, so it doesn't matter whether Minato is a Senju or not.
Women have many traits that can attract men, such as mystery and strength. So this is for the protagonist to use when pretending to be mysterious.
But pretending to be mysterious and powerful isn't enough. The next step is to sell one's tragic circumstances—the Caged Bird. That's why Hyuga Ao hopes to use these things to draw Namikaze Minato toward her in some way.
The protagonist's personality: I once read a Naruto novel where the protagonist acted like a manipulative flirt. She was far too awful, and I couldn't accept it. However, I do agree with using one's own advantages to seek benefits. In the early stages, the Caged Bird may cause her to become somewhat corrupted, similar to using a smile on the surface to conceal the pressure in her heart. I won't say more about what happens after the Butterfly Transformation.
Golden Finger: Core Condensation Martial Artist. This was something the protagonist drew from somewhere when she transmigrated. (A Certain Scientific Naruto.) In other words, she obtained Core Condensation cultivation. You can think of it as Fourth Tier: Microscopic.
Caged Bird: I probably came up with the Caged Bird myself, though I might have seen it somewhere. I don't remember. I explained it fairly clearly in Chapter Two, so I won't discuss it here.
Shadow of the Hyuga Clan: My understanding is that it is a kind of field, or perhaps a domain. This setting came from a Naruto fan fiction whose name I can't remember. The protagonist was from the Hyuga Main Family. This domain is formed from the Byakugan, chakra, her martial arts, a certain amount of Natural Chakra, and Spiritual Power combined together. It can slow the enemy's movements and allow her to predict their actions. I haven't thought through the exact explanation or functions yet, so I'll fill them in later.
