This kind of attribute-based aura was highly corrosive to the physical body and soul, and could even greatly dissolve the condensed radiance of magic treasures. Ordinary Yin Fiend Aura posed little threat to soul cultivators at the Ghost King stage, but if the Baleful Intent was too vast and pure, it could pose an enormous threat even to Profound level existences.
Yin Fiend Aura was not purely harmful. Cultivators could also cultivate within it and increase their cultivation and strength.

Baleful corpses were formed when physical bodies fell within Yin Fiend Aura and were eroded until their flesh and vital souls were lost. Their bones, however, were slowly nourished, forming ghostly beings different from soul bodies. They were far more powerful than corporeal Yin Souls, because baleful corpses possessed bones from the outset—something corporeal Yin Souls could never compare with.
If divided in detail, baleful corpses could be regarded as having bones nourished by Baleful Intent, giving rise to corpse spirits within themselves. This was somewhat similar to a magic treasure giving birth to an artifact spirit.
The artifact spirit born from a magic treasure required nourishment from pure soul energy, whereas a baleful corpse was condensed from pure Baleful Intent. Within Baleful Intent was an aura different from soul energy, yet it could likewise form spiritual awareness and give birth to a spirit body.
Balefal corpses naturally had realms of
