"Martial Uncle, are you sure we can withstand the terrifying attacks sweeping through there?" Seeing the Puppet destroyed so easily, Ying Fei's expression turned grave.
"Martial Uncle, why don't I send a True Immortal bird in to test it?" Su Zishan was uneasy.
Along the way, they had seen just how bold Qin Fengming was. Whenever a situation felt dangerous even to True Immortals, he dared to face it. There was no need to look far: few True Immortal cultivators would have dared confront those three ferocious True Immortal beasts as directly as he had.
Three True Immortals had died and one had been gravely wounded. That alone showed how formidable the beasts were.
"Senior Qin, I have a Golden Immortal spirit beast. I'm willing to send it in to scout the way," Huang Shi offered, wanting to do his part.
"Fellow Daoist Huang's spirit beast would be the safest choice. Please allow it, Senior Qin." Guo Chang and the other two bowed together.
Seeing the two women try to stop him and the four men looking worried, Qin Fengming smiled faintly. "All right. Let Fellow Daoist Huang test it with his spirit beast."
Qin Fengming cast a spell, and ripples of light shimmered across the solid barrier. "There. Send the spirit beast in."
A Deer Beast appeared before them. Driven by Huang Shi's will, it touched the shimmering patch of light. The barrier stirred, a wave swallowed the beast, and it passed inside.
Everyone watched as a surge of energy swept over it. Wounds immediately appeared across the Deer Beast's body.
"Fellow Daoist Huang Shi, get in there! The Golden Immortal Deer Beast can't hold out for long!" Guo Chang cried.
Huang Shi did not hesitate. He immediately hurled himself toward the shimmering section of the Restrictive Spell's barrier.
