A drunken pirate walked toward Disco, and the pungent stench of alcohol made Disco frown.
"Watch where you're going."
Disco growled. In the past, he would have sent someone to seize the pirate, personally put a slave collar around his neck, and take him to auction.
"Damn..."
The drunken pirate gripped a bottle of rum and looked at Disco through bleary eyes. A moment later, his expression changed slightly, and he retreated to the side of the street.
"Peasant."
Disco sneered and strode forward. Cracks appeared across the bottle in the pirate's hand. In his eyes, Disco was trash, but he truly couldn't afford to provoke the people behind him.
Like a victorious rooster, Disco walked away with a smug look on his face. The pirate leaning against the street corner let out a cold laugh. If Disco ever fell from power, he would be the first to capture him and chop him up to feed the fish.
Disco led his men through Area 30, heading straight for the direction of Grove 70.
By the time Disco reached his destination, his head was covered in sweat. His hurried breathing made it obvious that he was in poor shape.
"My lord, why didn't we take a Bubble Vehicle..."
The guard beside him spoke in a low voice. He had walked several blocks in heavy armor, and his back and waist were aching badly.
"What the hell do you know?"
Disco straightened his clothes and hurried toward an inn while the heat and sweat still clung to his face.
When Disco entered the inn, more than a dozen pirates were laughing and chatting loudly on the first floor. The first floor was a combination restaurant and tavern, while the second and third floors contained guest rooms.
