A carriage rolled down the street, kicking up clouds of dust. It stopped beside Su Xiao, and several men and women jumped out. Their clothing varied, as did their weapons. Some carried grappling hooks or crossbows, while others even had anchor-shaped weapons strapped to their backs.
Several men and women walked toward a magnificent building. It was the Headquarters of the Holy Healing Church. Though grand, it looked somewhat dilapidated, clearly showing its age. Parts of the outer wall had already begun to weather.
The first floor of the Holy Healing Church was open to the public, while the areas above it were accessible only to internal personnel. Since it was evening, the lobby was deserted when Su Xiao entered.
A large wooden board was embedded in one wall of the lobby, covered with wanted posters of varying ages. Some of the paper had already yellowed.
The lobby covered several hundred square meters, but its furnishings were simple.
