Hundreds of diamond fragments sprayed toward the young woman. She thrust out one hand, and a mass of green ghostly light blocked her path.
The diamond fragments vanished into the green ghostly light. Most were stopped, but a few pierced through it and sank into the young woman's body.
The young woman grunted. The veins in her neck rapidly bulged, and purple light shone from her eyes. This woman was the witch Mira.
Although Mira had blocked most of the diamond fragments, she couldn't ignore the impact behind them. As a result, the backrest behind her broke, and her body leaned backward.
The passengers in this carriage had fallen asleep because of Mira's influence. After going without sleep for several days, even Mira, who had been riding the train, was inevitably tired. To keep the ants in the same carriage from disturbing her sweet dreams, she had caused most of the passengers inside to fall asleep.
After the deafening gunshots, all the sleeping passengers were startled awake, each wearing a bewildered expression.
Su Xiao blasted Mira in the face with a shotgun, then drew D from his waist.

After four shots, two struck Mira in the lower abdomen and thigh. She rolled behind a row of seats. By then, she no longer cared about the dignity of a four-stage witch and scrambled toward the rear of the carriage.
Just as Mira was about to leap out of the carriage, three bullets flew toward her in a triangular formation. She hurriedly ducked behind the seats. She was only one step from the carriage door, but if she charged through, she would have to take at least several bullets, perhaps even a dozen.
Clang, clang, clang...
Three crisp sounds rang out as sparks flew. Three transparent holes were
