In her hazy consciousness, Rin felt a faint chill coming from behind. It didn't hurt, but it was a little itchy.

"Mm~"

Groggily, Rin sat up. The smooth blanket slid off her body. She looked out the window as the chirping of birds reached her ears.

"Is it noon already?"

After scratching her messy hair, Rin wrapped herself in the blanket and sat up. Almost immediately, she sensed something different about her body. The mana within her had completely vanished, leaving her Magic Circuits utterly empty.

The astonishing change left Rin dazed for a moment. All her past efforts had gone up in smoke, and the sense of loss sank her heart to the bottom. Yet in the next instant, she sensed something strange behind her. Soon, she discovered that all the mana in her body had gathered at her back—or rather, in some unknown place there.

Barefoot, Rin pattered over to the mirror and pulled down the blanket behind her. She saw an alchemical formation covering her back. The formation was circular overall, its crimson patterns nearly filling her entire back.

When Rin tried to activate her jewel magecraft, a faint red glow flowed through the Third Astral Glory Alchemical Formation. The entire formation seemed to come alive, becoming breathtakingly beautiful.

If Rin's original maximum mana capacity had been 20, it was now at least over 600. Of course, that didn't mean her strength had increased thirtyfold. The power of her jewel magecraft hadn't changed and still depended on her Magic Circuits. However, the number of times she could use jewel magecraft had increased drastically. In a sense, the Third Astral Glory Alchemical Formation had replaced most of her Magic Circuits.

"Is it something like a storage device? Or perhaps a converter? What incredible technology."

Rin was very satisfied.
