At ten that night, with the bright moon hanging high, the Wild Boar Manor was ablaze with lights beneath the moonlight. The banquet hall was especially lively, filled with well-dressed men and women chatting and laughing. Lady was occasionally amused into covering her mouth and giggling by the witty gentlemen and attendants. To the soothing music, pairs of men and women danced in the center of the ballroom, with some even locked in passionate kisses.
"A life of extravagance."
A man dressed in leather, with leather boots covered in decorative straps, had one foot propped on a chair. He raised the wineglass in his hand.
"To the Immortal King!"
The man's shout did not disrupt the banquet's atmosphere. Instead, it drew cheers from the other guests. Everyone raised their glasses, and even those without wine hurriedly found some and raised their glasses with the others, as if they dared not show the slightest disrespect to the Immortal King.
"Mr. Sin, may I invite you to dance?"
A charming lady in a red dress came before the leather-clad man, Sin. Mr. Sin glanced at her and shook his head.
"You might die."
"..."
The smile on the lady in red stiffened, then returned to normal. After exchanging a few polite words, she hurriedly left.
The Mr. Sin on Lady's lips drained the blood-red wine from his glass. He raised a hand to touch his chest and pulled out a pocket watch.
Click.
The cover sprang open, and Sin's brows furrowed slightly. It was already 10:17, yet Sting still had not arrived. That was abnormal. If the Eye Room had not run into trouble, he would already have sent people to look for Sting.
"Sting never breaks his promises, so..."
Sin sat up straight and beckoned to a waiter with his finger.
