A gentle breeze stirred the gauze curtains. Inside the luxuriously decorated room, a crow landed on Black Sea King Agati's finger.
"They'll come looking for you. You must have witnessed just how crazy the Nightmare God's followers are."
Agati gave her hand a slight wave, and the black-and-red-feathered crow flew out the window.
"Am I to understand that you intend to stand with them?"
"Of course not." Agati smiled and continued, "They're merely a pack of stray dogs that have lost their master. Some of them have always believed they were the masters themselves. In reality, once they've lost the god holding their chains, they've gone from 'hunting hounds' to 'stray dogs'—stray dogs wandering the wilderness."
As she spoke, Agati picked up the Ancient God's right arm. She was well aware that this item did not belong to her yet. As for getting something for nothing, the man sitting across from her dared to slay even gods. The title of Black Sea King alone would not be enough to intimidate him.
"I'm very interested in this divine arm. Tell me, what do I have to pay?"
