With a crack, the dark force field shattered like a broken mirror. Pieces of black crystal fell to the ground, gradually turning into black smoke that drifted away.
Qiz rose to his feet. His eyes were completely black now. His abilities leaned toward darkness. Although the Archbishop had reduced damage taken from dark attributes, Qiz was no longer simply using darkness to fight. Instead, he had derived "life of death" from darkness.
