The once-magnificent fortress had now become a sea of fire atop its walls, while the Elf defenders inside the fortress were thrown into chaos.
Under normal circumstances, the Elves' combat discipline should have prevented this. Unfortunately, the attack had come too suddenly. Before most of them could react, the enemy had already surrounded the entire fortress.
There were many scout units stationed in all eight directions around Moonlight Fortress. However, by the time the scouts discovered the enemy and fired signal flares into the sky, the enemy had already reached the fortress. The wolf riders were simply too fast.
It could be said that when the defenders inside the fortress saw the signal flares, the demon flame dragon Barbatos had already flown above the fortress.
Moreover, the first wave of signal flares fired by the scouts had all been dealt with by Baha using spatial abilities. Within a certain range, no one was faster than a spatial ability user.
