The Fallen Deity was far too powerful. Right now, there was only one way to deal with it—throwing lives at it.
In battle, Ghost Shadow had fought with extraordinary ferocity. He was the sort who usually said nothing, then struck with overwhelming force at crucial moments.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Fallen Deity slapped the ground with one hand, and blossoms of sword light suddenly appeared one after another. It was Amans, but compared to the Fallen Deity's Sin Flames, his Death Flames were beginning to weaken.
The Fallen Deity's massive claw swiped over. Amans leaped aside to dodge, but just as he steadied himself, the Fallen Deity's other claw came grasping at him. There was nowhere to escape.

The battle continued. Ghost Shadow charged forward with the sound of diving, and almost simultaneously, an especially massive azure Blade Glow slashed toward the Fallen Deity, forcing it back a step.
The rumbling continued without pause. The sight made Duke and Empress heartsick: of the elite pirates they had brought, only a little over a hundred remained. Everyone else was dead, without even leaving corpses behind. The ground was covered in black bone ash and half-melted metal weapons.
"Roar!!"
The Fallen Deity let out a roar, layer upon layer of sound waves carrying sparks spreading outward. It had finally ended its thirty-second barrage of Cupping
