Su Xiao walked out of the temporary command center. He wanted to see the battlefield with his own eyes.

A chorus of roars came from the distance. A black tide surged over, made up of Insectoid Warriors sprinting toward them. Their skin was gray-black, their bodies covered in scale-like layers of keratin. Their hands were claws, and black, hair-like tentacles hung from their backs.
Some of the Insectoid Warriors still ran upright, while the deeply parasitized ones charged on all fours.
"Samua! (Unknown language)"
A humanoid monster over three meters tall shouted. Nematodes wriggled inside its pupils. It was a Mutator, a rare type among the Insectoid Warriors. In a state of deep parasitism, it possessed formidable combat power and could command a certain number of Insectoid Warriors.
At present, the ruling hierarchy of the Taiyatu civilization was simple. It was no longer like it had been in the past, with officials of all ranks. The current hierarchy was:
Taiyatu the Great Emperor → the Three Knights → the Mutators → the Insectoid Warriors (the lowest level).
Mutators could occasionally be seen on the battlefield, proving that there were quite a few of these monsters. As for the Three Knights Kingsley had mentioned, they had not appeared yet. Presumably, they were the three trusted aides of Taiyatu the Great Emperor during the height of the Taiyatu civilization.
The Insectoid Warriors surged forward in overwhelming numbers, and the earth trembled faintly beneath their feet.
Inside the trenches on Su Xiao's side, soldiers aimed their rifles. Sweat covered their faces. To be honest, they had never fought in a war. The South Continent and the East Continent had enjoyed peace for far too long. More than eighty-five percent of the Alliance soldiers had no real concept of war. The rest were
