The moment the blood-qi monster slashed off Zias's head, countless tentacles grew from the battle scythe in its hand and twisted wildly as they wrapped around it.

Black tentacles coiled around the blood-qi monster's left arm, shoulder, and head. When they touched its skin, a sizzling corrosion sounded, accompanied by signs of aging.
