One by one, bucket-thick azure light pillars descended, smashing into the battlefield. The battlefield that had been a chaotic melee half an hour ago now held no Clan soldiers or Wild Boar warriors in sight. Both sides had either hidden in underground tunnels or taken cover in the trenches.
Hundreds of metal pillars, each half a meter thick and three meters long, stood high in the sky. This was the attack formation of heavy-artillery weapons after firing. The pillars compressed energy at their tops and blasted azure light pillars from their bottoms, forming a simultaneous artillery barrage. In the area affected, other allied troops besides heavily armored tanks had very low survival rates.
It was already the third day since the melee began, and it was only afternoon, yet the Clan had already gathered the firepower of its heavy-artillery weapons and launched five rounds of artillery barrages.
Only this could suppress the Solar Legion's offensive. Otherwise, the Wild Boar warriors' assault would be too difficult to stop.
The Clan border, Dusk Fortress.
As a deployed T0 fortress, Dusk Fortress was essentially a slightly compact city. Its buildings had all been constructed in a short period, and with the Clan army stationed there, the fortress looked like a steel city with neatly arranged buildings when viewed from above.
Inside the command center in the middle-rear area of the steel city, a holographic map floated above a sand table, with more than a dozen Clan officers gathered around it.
