The Sun Camp, Residential Area.
The Residential Area had been carved out of the mountains. The entire Borderland Region was cut off by a range that stretched nearly from one ocean to the other on both the northern and southern sides of the continent.
The only gap in the middle of the range was where the Sun Fortress stood. The inner space of the mountains could all be developed into residential areas, so the Residential Area was far larger than expected, divided into a total of 89 zones.
Residential Area, Zone 3. As one of the earliest residential areas—and the site of the first ball field—Zone 3 was where Wild Boar warriors and the short pigmen preferred to spend their free time.
Within Zone 3's spacious mountain cavern, all kinds of houses had been built. They came in many varieties, most constructed by the short pigmen.
With their population nearing 130,000, the short pigmen were full of talent. Besides mining active ore and building houses, they also had a certain knack for business.
Some clever short pigmen formed groups of a dozen or so. At first, they helped the Wild Boar warriors build houses.
Building houses was not free. Did the Wild Boar warriors have money? Of course not. But apart from weapons and combat uniforms, they owned all the spoils they seized from enemies, turning them into personal assets.
At first, these personal assets were meaningless. After those dozen-odd short pigmen began charging for construction, the Wild Boar warriors' assets gained value. They had no use for hoarding the spoils anyway, so they might as well use them to build houses.
This pioneering business venture gave those short pigmen more work than they could handle, and the other short pigmen followed suit.
