A circular crater appeared in the ground, its interior covered in spiderweb-like cracks. After entering battle mode, A'mu's eyes turned blood-red, every muscle on his body bulged, and wisps of cold air drifted from the two horns pointing toward the sky.
A'mu no longer looked as honest and simple as usual. Just standing there, he resembled an iron tank, as if nothing could stop him.
The Raikage's group wasn't surprised by A'mu's appearance. Among the three of them, C was a sensory ninja.
"Is this a weapon cultivated by the Akatsuki?"
Darui spoke lazily while looking up at Su Xiao.
"The one up there should be the Akatsuki member Byakuya. I've heard he attacked Konoha. He doesn't look like much."
Darui smiled.
"Don't let your guard down. I can smell the blood on that guy even from several dozen meters away. Anyone who survived attacking Konoha is definitely no ordinary person."
C formed hand seals as he sensed the surrounding situation.
"C, according to the intelligence, there should be another female sensory ninja. Find her first. I'll deal with Uchiha Sasuke and his accomplices. Darui, you hold off that bull and the Akatsuki member Byakuya."
"Understood."
"Mm."
C and Darui began to act. C simply remained where he was, while Darui walked toward A'mu.
The Raikage seemed to know that the situation was unfavorable. He couldn't determine whether Su Xiao, sitting above, would make a move, so he stomped on the ground. The Lightning Shield armor around his body visibly expanded, while his slicked-back hair stood straight up one strand at a time, resembling a hedgehog.
In most situations, the Raikage only activated around ten to twenty percent of his body's potential. Now, however, he directly raised it to sixty percent.
