Yang Fushuo was born as the second son of Yang Shi and Jiang Xiaobai. Yang Genshuo named him “Fushuo,” intending that he would shine with brilliance, and directed the family to reserve Fire-element techniques, treasures, pills, and materials for him. 56

Unlike his disciplined elder brother Yang Fu, Fushuo was carefree as a child and often preferred mud, fire, and play to formal cultivation.
