Two graceful figures sped past the outskirts of the Star Dou Forest.
Just as they turned and charged into the thicket, a foul wind swept in from behind.
The stench was like that of a sewer, and the horrifying aura was enough to make one shudder.
When the monster emerged into the sunlight, its grotesque appearance became even clearer—ugly beyond anything the world had ever seen.
It had a tiger's head, a snake's body, and a fish tail. Its upper body also sprouted six chicken-claw-like forelimbs!
Most importantly, its body was not covered in scales, but in fur that looked like it was afflicted with mange!
Its face also bore three pairs of spider-like eyes!
Two words were enough to describe this monster: utterly disgusting!
"Damn it, if we go any farther, we'll enter the inner region of the Star Dou Great Forest!"
"And why is there a Six-Eyed Fiend near the Star Dou Great Forest? It's so strong!"
"Forget that for now. Escaping is what matters!"

As they spoke, the figures of the two young ladies gradually came into view.
Judging by their clothing and appearance, they seemed to be students from some academy.
But just as the two young ladies prepared to move, the monster known as the Six-Eyed Fiend suddenly let out a shriek toward the heavens!
The sharp, piercing soundwave spread outward, instantly shattering the surrounding ancient trees into splinters!
The two young ladies were immediately caught in it as well!
Not only did their advance come to an abrupt halt, but they also clutched their ears, their faces filled with pain and bewilderment.
