"Dao Artifact cannon! Fire!" The unruly princess hovered above the warship, pointing beneath the sea and shouting sharply. I was astonished, wondering whether this would actually work. Anyone could yell wildly, after all—but there had to be a cannon to fire too!
Yet, contrary to my expectations, although that unruly princess was arrogant, tsundere, and fiery, her commands were absolute within the demonic path. The instant her voice fell, the enormous, pitch-black cannon on the ship began condensing scarlet power!
Judging by the ferocity and magnitude of that power, I estimated that one shot would consume at least one or two Grade-Two qi discs. So it was no wonder that these main cannons needed several days to charge before firing. After all, converting a single Grade-Two immortal-qi disc was no easy task! Of course, the benefit of such enormous consumption was that a single shot was often enough to secure victory!
The crackling sound of energy gathering rang out without pause. When the cannon, as towering as a modern skyscraper, finished charging, a deafening boom suddenly erupted. A black-and-red beam of light shot into the seabed, blasting a vast circular black hole into the surface of the sea! The size of that black hole and the terrifying heat it gave off both exceeded my expectations. If there had been any living creatures below, they probably would have been instantly steamed away!
Boom!
A violent explosion came from below, and then a warship covered in red, with parts painted gold, burst up from the seabed!
Its enormous form was easily three or four times the size of a Blood Demon warship. Yet unlike the Blood Demon warships, whose upper surfaces held Immortal City and protective divine light, this Blood Sea warship was, in all seriousness, almost indistinguishable from a warship in
