King Yu'an had not appeared on the surface of the sea. I sensed her aura deep beneath the waters, but only just now managed to detect the faintest trace of it. It seemed that the powerful gravity had thrown even this Mercury's seawater—and the auras within it—into complete disarray. Even this gently rippling sea was probably only enjoying a momentary calm.
I stood on the surface of the sea as a scorching wind blew into my face. Looking up at the sky, I saw the clouds stretching out, while faint dark clouds were gathering, making this place unstable once more. Like other active minor worlds, it probably experienced all sorts of sudden weather changes—violent storms, torrential rain, and raging tornadoes.
Perhaps sensing that I had arrived, the aura beneath the deep sea rushed toward me. Before more than a few blinks had passed, the sea ahead exploded with a roar, and King Yu'an emerged onto the surface.
I looked her up and down. She was just as she had always been, her face bearing the marks of vicissitude. She wore the black robes commonly seen in King Yu'an's Demon Realm, with purple hems and sleeves. In her hand, she now held a black longsword similar to Sovereign Violent Rain's Journey.
